MoGenWeb, Cooper County, Missouri birth record, 1890.

Claiborne R Eastham's son, William Rothwell's wife, gave birth to a son in 1890. Birth record gave William's middle name as Rothwell. Since William also had a son named William Claiborne, it is deemed correct to consider the "R" in Claiborne R Eastham name to be Rothwell. This evidence also proves that John Eastham and Polly Rothwell were Claiborne R Eastham's parents, since Polly Rothwell is known to be a daughter of Claiborne Rothwell, of Albemarle County, Virginia.

September, 2000
