Location: T-49-N; R-18-W; the southeast quarter of Section 7:

Area: Lamine Township. about six miles south of Arrow Rock, Missouri; of a Missouri River Bluff, on land owned by the Fritz Family. (1976).

McMAHAN, Infant daughter of E. D. and V. McMahan; born and died 14 Feb 1868.
McMAHAN, Stella; died 31 Aug 1871; aged 1 year 9 months, 22 days; daughter of E. D. and V. McMahan.
McMAHAN, James W.; died 14 Mar 1874; aged 2 years, 1 month, 13 days; son of E. D. and V. McMahan.

This cemetery is in very poor condition; cattle are allowed to range over it. There are about nine graves marked with rough limestone markers; probably marking some of the graves listed above.

Death Notice, Marshall Newspaper, Saline County, Missouri, January 17, 1924:

Mr. E. D. McMahan died Thursday morning at the home of his son-in-law, Clint Easthman, South of Arrow Rock.

Mr. McMahan was a brother-in-law of Mrs. J. T. Herndon, who died two weeks ago last Monday, and Joseph Kincheloe, who died last Saturday.

Burial will be in Arrow Rock Cemetery.

Family bible record of Samuel McMahan indicate birth date is December 12, 1843, died January 17, 1924, married Victorina Kincheloe.
